Wednesday the 28th of Ramadan 1444, April 19th, 2023, witnessed the inauguration of the new Mosque of Alexandria Shipyard with the distinguished presence of Admiral. Ashraf Attwa, the Commander of the Navy and the Chairman of the Marine Industries and Services Organization (MIASO). He was received by Staff Rear Admiral Ihab sobhy, the General Manager of MIASO, Rear Admiral. Hossam El-Din Ezzat Kotb, the Chairman of Alexandria Shipyard, as well as a group of managers, engineers, and workers from the shipyard. He praised the Mosque for its spaciousness, construction, and amenities. The congregation then performed the Asr prayer at the Mosque in celebration of the opening. Commemorative photos were taken and happiness and joy filled the celebration. He also congratulated all attendees on the blessed Eid al-Fitr, wishing them all goodness and happiness.
