Metal proc.& Unit assembly (WS1 & WS2)
Shown area consists of the following:At the east entrance located Metal processing W/S, forward to which the unit assembly W/S
- Metal processing W/S is equipped with:
- 2 NC Plasma cutting machine. Rail length:28m, rail width:8.2m
- 1 Planer-Type Multi-Head Cutting Machine. Rail length:20m, rail width: 7.5m
- 6 Electromagnetic Lifting appliance
- 1 Hot work platform
- 16 overhead cranes
- unit assembly & welding W/S Sheets, plating &various profiles (bulb flats, T sections, angles) previously cut to size and shaped in the metal processing WS are to assemble& welded making medium size units before it is sent to next block WS
Machining & Electric W/S
(WS7 & WS4)
Two workshops are located in this area:
- The machining shop equipped with various turning, milling, skimming & boring machines of various sizes stationed and/or portable to suit all the ship construction& ship repairs various needs
- Electrical installation W. shop main activity is :- cable laying, electrical circuits installation, checking testing&put into operation of all the power source equipment, vessel's lighting, controls&all navigation crew living facilities
Machinery & Outfitting W/S
(WS5 & WS12)
Two workshops are located in this area:
- Mechanical installation w. shop, main activity is the main & auxiliary engines installation together with shaft alignment& propeller fitting
- Outfitting W/s :ship's outfittings either fabricated & installed onboard the ship and/or just installed together with the deck & mooring equipment
Block assembly & Welding W/S (2A)

The workshop consists of 3 bays, with span 33.0m and 189m length, the shop is equipped with:
- (6) Overhead cranes 50T with 18m height.
- (8) Overhead cranes 16T with 14m height.
- (180) sets of various electric welding machines.
& main activity is producing mega blocks from the units& subsections supplied from hull shop.
Pipe W/s (WS6)
The shop consists of one three-bay plant buildings,
- The W/S consists mainly from 3 bays, 2among them are for various processing cutting to size, bending, shaping& welding
- Leak test & hydro tests are also being done in special area within the 2 bays using the suitable equipment& indicators
- Bay 3 devoted for chemical cleaning &passivation
Electricity Station
The building area is (1264 m2), supplied by (2) Main Transformers (11KV / 6KV) , electric power 20 M.V.A

Natural Gas station
The Station undertakes the supply of natural gas of shipyard, 12.50m length, 10.50m width The station equipped with:
- 1 Pressure regulating box 1300m3/h is adopted, for pressure regulation for cutting Machines
- 1 Pressure regulating box 600m3/h is adopted, for pressure regulation forthe boiler room
- 1 Additive atomization mixed device
Oxygen and CO2 Station
The Station undertakes the supply of oxygen and carbon dioxide The Oxygen Unit is equipped with 2 liquid oxygen storage tanks 20m³ and 30m³, respectively
- Filling equipment rated to be a maximum of 480 bottle/day
- The carbon dioxide Unit is equipped by 2 liquid carbon dioxide storage tanks 20m3 each, with filling equipment rated to be a maximum of 150 bottle/day

Fiber glass W/S
Yachts, pleasure boats& many other small craft vessels are built from GRP are the normal products of the subject W/S with which the shop specially constructed & equipped
Main Store
Main store area where the material and equipment necessary to build various ships are well stored and preserved .
Necessary yard consumables, including welding are also well stored in well ventilated ,clean& tidy store areas

Painting W/S (WS10)
The shop consists of one grit& shot blasting comperment and two coating comperments, with dimension 42.0m×21.0m, and 13.0m height each, The workshop is equipped with many systems:
- Grit blasting system
- Grit recycling system
- Vacuum recovery system
- Full ventilation and dust removing system
- Dehumidification and air supply system
- Paint spraying system
Air compression station
The station dimension is 62m length, 28m width. The station is equipped with:
- (4) Compressors 190 m3/Min.
- (1) Compressor 100 m3/Min
- (1) Overhead cranes 5T.
Steel Product Preprocessing Workshop
The Workshop dedicated toplates processing (blasting – painting) with 30m length, 12m width The workshop is equipped with: - (1) crane 5Ton
Foundery WS (WS9)
The station dimension is 62m length, 28m width. The station is equipped with:
- There are two new furnace 2 ton and 150 kg capacity.
- (The 2 ton used to melt cast iron.
- The 150 kg used to melt nonferrous metal.
- There are Green Sand Unit (Mixer, Checkout and Belts)And 2 Cleaning Machine.
- Our foundry products grey cast iron and nonferrous metal (Copper, Aluminum and Zinc)
