The honorable Admiral Ashraf Attwa, Commander of the Egyptian Navy, has accompanied Staff Rear Admiral Saif bin Nasser bin Mohsin Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman, and his accompanying delegation, in a visit to Alexandria Shipyard.<br>
They were warmly received by Rear Admiral Mohamed Farag, Deputy Director General of the Marine Industries and Services Organization, and Rear Admiral Hossam El-Din Kotb, Chairman of Alexandria
During the visit, they had a tour through the ongoing projects at the company, such as the MEKO A-200 frigate, the 85-ton bollard pull tugboat, and the latest fiberglass patrol boat capable of reaching a speed of 56 knots. They also toured the production workshops and shipbuilding facilities, and were presented with a comprehensive overview of the company’s capabilities, expertise, and its esteemed position as the largest industrial fortress in shipbuilding and repair in Egypt and the Middle East, where he commended the company for its exceptional expertise and capabilities
