Admiral Monde Lobese, Commander of the South African Navy, and his accompanying delegation, visited Alexandria Shipyard

Admiral Ashraf Attwa, Commander of the Egyptian Navy, along with Admiral Monde Lobese, Commander of the South African Navy, and his accompanying delegation, visited Alexandria Shipyard during their official visit.

They were warmly welcomed by Rear Admiral Hossam El-Din Ezzat Kotb, Chairman of Alexandria Shipyard, and Rear Admiral Ehab Sobhi, Director General of the Marine Industries and Services Organization.

The visit included a site tour of ongoing projects at the company, such as the MEKO A200 frigate, various types of tugboats, including the 200 ton bollard pull salvage tugboat, and the GRP Interceptor, the fastest in the Egyptian Navy at an impressive speed of 56 knots.

The delegation also toured the production workshops and shipbuilding facilities, receiving a concise presentation on the company’s capabilities and leading expertise as the largest industrial fortress in shipbuilding and ship repair in Egypt and the Middle East.
