Commander of the Kuwaiti Naval Force delegation

Admiral Ashraf Attwa, Commander of the Egyptian Navy, accompanied Commodore Hazza Mutlaq Al-Alati, Commander of the Kuwaiti Naval Force, and their accompanying delegation, in a visit to Alexandria Shipyard.

They were warmly received by Rear Admiral Hossam El-Din Ezzat Kotb, Chairman of Alexandria Shipyard, and Rear Admiral Ehab Sobhi, Director General of the Marine Industries and Services Organization.

During the visit, they inspected ongoing projects at the company, including the MEKO A200 frigate and the 200 ton bollard pull salvage tugboat, as well as a state-of-the-art GRP Interceptor capable of reaching an impressive speed of 56 knots.

Admiral Attwa and the Kuwaiti delegate also toured the production workshops, shipbuilding facilities, and received a comprehensive presentation on the company’s capabilities and leading expertise as the largest industrial fortress in shipbuilding and ship repair in Egypt and the Middle East. They commended the company’s expertise, capabilities, and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts among Arab nations in the field of naval shipbuilding.
