ASY launched the Fourth and Last contracted Gowind® 2500-Class Corvette for the Egyptian Navy at its Facility.

On 12th May 2020, E.N.S Luxor (986) Was The Third Gowind corvette Ship To Be Launched by ASY Facility, the event commissions a paramount step in the success of technology transfer program signed with Naval Group French Partner, the event proves that building one of the most advanced stealth type corvette ship could take place to coincide with ASY vision in leading the combat ship building industrial capacity to the level that suites the Egyptian fleet demand to such type of combat ships and other allied countries demand as well. Egypt’s Armed Forces CinC, Minister of Defense and Military production “General/ Mohamed Zaki” Honors the launching ceremony along with other dignitaries, including French Ambassador in Cairo, Stefan Romaté, Egyptian Armed Forces Chief of Staff “Lieutenant-General/ Mohamed Farid”, Egyptian Navy CinC “Vice Adm./ Ahmed Khaled” and General Director of Marine Industries and Services Organization “Rear Adm./ Mohamed Abdel Aziz”.
