Alexandria Shipyard participating in the 32nd edition of the Monaco Yacht Show


In accordance with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi regarding the importance of maximizing yacht tourism in Egypt and implementing a comprehensive strategy that includes a master plan for establishing marinas and international ports along the various coasts of the country, in addition to leveraging the various assets and potentials possessed by Egypt in this regard, Admiral Ashraf Ibrahim Attwa (Commander of the Naval Forces and CEO of the Marine Industries and Services Organization) has issued his instructions to attend the Monaco Yacht Show considering Alexandria Shipyard as a main pillar of this strategy.
A high-level delegation from Alexandria Shipyard, led by Rear Admiral Hossam El-Din Kotb (CEO) is participating in the 32nd edition of the Monaco Yacht Show, which runs until September 30th at Port Hercules in France. The show is gathering leading global companies specialized in the yacht industry.
This participation comes within the company’s plan to localize and transfer yacht manufacturing technology to Alexandria Shipyard in alliance with one of the world’s leading companies in the yacht industry. This capitalizes on ASY’s unique strategic location on the Mediterranean coast and the immense technical capabilities of Alexandria Shipyard to become an international hub for yacht manufacturing, repair, and tourism in the Mediterranean and Middle East as well.
