Today, a high-level delegation from the global company “Royal IHC” of the Netherlands, the leading company in the manufacturing of marine dredgers, visited Alexandria Shipyard. The delegation was led by Mr. Bert Jan de Keijzer (Area Sales Director Africa) and Mr. Oscar Ten Heggler (Project Manager), along with the company’s representative in Egypt, Engineer Mohamed Zikri. They met with Rear Admiral Hossam Kotb (Chairman and CEO) to discuss potential areas of collaboration with Alexandria Shipyard in localizing the manufacturing of dredgers in Egypt. The delegation conducted a tour of the various production workshops, building berths, drydocks, and construction areas of the company, and reviewed some ongoing projects for marine units under construction in the workshops. It is also worth mentioning that representatives of “Royal IHC” praised the significant progress and excellence of Alexandria Shipyard in building various types of marine units with exceptional quality, competing with global shipyards and successfully penetrating the international market.
