The ship repair sector carries out ship's repairs , systems upgrade, equipment , ship hull maintenance work specially for the underwater survey and hull repair through repair workshops in the following specializations:

- The small dock receives ships of up to 10,000 tons, with a maximum length of 158.5 m, a maximum width of 18.9 m, and a maximum draft of 6.4 m. It is served by two vessels of 18 and 12 tons along the length of the dock.
- The large dock receives ships of up to 85,000 tons, with a maximum length of 267 m, a maximum width of 39.6 m, and a maximum draft of 9.5 m. It is served by two vessels of 16 and 32 tons along the length of the basin.
Repair Facilities
- The repair technology sector produces the production of various manufacturing drawings for ships under repair for the places to change panels and reinforcements, and supervises the stages of their installation and handing them over to the supervisory bodies.
- The General Department of Technology produces engineering drawings and production documents related to modification work for systems and changing equipment that is carried out on ships during repair periods, and supervises the stages of installation and delivery to international supervisory bodies.
- Welding departments in the General Department of Technology serve repair work for various types of metal sheets by performing welding procedures that are approved and qualified for the full range of thicknesses of sheets and in various welding conditions required for repairing ships according to the requirements of international supervision bodies.
- The manufacturing and shipbuilding capabilities of the company’s workshops serve metal working and fulfillment of repair demands for ship lines and equipment in accordance with the acceptance criteria required by international supervision bodies.
Crankshaft Repair/ Replacement
Due to the development of the company’s capabilities in various fields for the benefit of the ship repair industry, the company has carried out repair work for the crankshafts, especially for the obsolete engines as the last resort prior to changing the engines consequently preventing the ships form long periods of being inactive. This comes as a result of the distinguished qualification of technical workers in the field of accurate and sensitive repairs, using high-tech, accurate equipment and measuring tools that meet the repair demands in accordance with the standards of the main OEM manufacturers and the relevant classification societies
