Building 2 Tugs (Water Tractors) of 50 Tons-Bollard Pull each for The Red Sea Port Authority
This project is the third of its kind where ASY has built several similar tugs before . This type of Tractor Tug is a powerful, maneuverable, and quick harbor tug with minimal crew, minimal size and very low maintenance requirement making it one of the best vessels suitable for work in the ports. This is the most efficient small ship handling tool in the world today.

- Classified as standby and service ship and it is capable of towing other floating vessel
- The tug is known for its high level maneuverability specially in harbors , restricted areas ,canal & confined waters
- The Tug is with 6 persons operating crew
- It is powered by two main engines of 1920 KW power each, and propelled by two Voith Schneider propellers
- Provided with fenders for maximum protection all round
- Very adapted to boarding moving ships:pilot and crew transfer,customs,coast guard ,etc
- It is Also used as general purpose harbor shuttle ,transfer boat.
